Dark sonic el erizo, es la forma que toma Sonic cuando entra en un estado de Shock muy fuerte o cuando se enfurece demasiado a tal grado que no puede detener sus impulsos y llega a tranformarse en esta negativa forma de su ser, en esta ocasion aparece cuando pierde a Tails de nuevo y esta vez tal vez para siempre, lo cual le cuesta trabajo admitir y comprender.
